Moving Mountain Guides is owned by Micheál Murphy and is based in Fort William, at the foot of Ben Nevis and the heart of the Highlands of Scotland.

Micheál has worked in the outdoors as instructor for the last ten years and in his free time enjoys nothing more that climbing and exploring the Highlands on foot. He loves instructing as facilitating other's to access the outdoors never grows old!

 

Micheál moved to the Scottish Highlands in the winter of 2019 for what he thought might be a dabble of Scottish winter climbing. With new adventures a plentiful and  a cheery bunch of climbing partners around he's never left!
